Stainless Style is the debut album from Neon Neon, a project from SFA front man Gruff Rhys and electronic artist Boom Bip. SS is a concept album about John DeLorean, the automobile industry maverick who was as notorious for his futuristic designs as for his 1982 arrest for drug trafficking, a charge he later beat yet which gave him a stigma he could not shake. DeLoreans' life provides Neon Neon the material/inspiration to craft a quintessential '80s synth-pop tribute.
